The “Religion and Public Institutions” Research Network will be present at the 33rd ISSR Conference to be held in Louvain-la-Neuve (Belgium), 2-5 July 2015. Two different panels will host presentations on the presence and governance of religion and religious diversity in public institutions:
STS 21: Religion and Public Institutions: New Practices and Religious-Secular Dynamics. Session Organizers: Irene Becci (Université de Lausanne, Switzerland), Mar Griera (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Spain) and Lene Kühle (Aarhus University, Denmark).
STS 29: Faith-Based Schools Facing Diversity: Transformations,Strategies, and Resistances. Session Organizers: Sara Teinturier, GSRL (EPHE-CNRS, France), Julia Martínez-Ariño (Max-Planck Institute for the Study of Religious and Athnic Diversity, Germany) and Sabrina Pastorelli (GSRL, EPHE-CNRS, France).
